Rod Hanssen

Rod Hanssen

Vice President

Rod graduated from Mount Mercy College with a degree in marketing. Rod worked in the staffing industry for four years before he started at CCB Packaging Inc., in Hiawatha, Iowa. Rod spent the next seven years at CCB Packaging as a human resource manager and then six years as distribution manager.

In 2011, the owners of CCB Packaging asked Rod to start up Premier Staffing Inc. Under his leadership, Premier Staffing has become a local leader in the temporary staffing industry. In his spare time, Rod enjoys Iowa State athletics, playing golf, and watching sports.

Alejandro Pino

Alejandro Pino

Market Manager

Alejandro graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with degrees in international studies and political science. After graduation, he worked in Cedar Rapids as a marketing research analyst. Alejandro then served as international recruiter and the head men's/women's tennis coach at Loras College. After three years, he then became the director of Intercultural Programs.

In late 2011, Alejandro moved back to Cedar Rapids to address customer-staffing needs at Premier Staffing Inc. He offers exceptional customer service and fosters a positive work environment for all employees. Alejandro enjoys working with current and new customers to help achieve their goals.

Janelle Kreutner

Janelle Kreutner

Office Manager

Janelle, a Montana native, has lived in many places, including North Dakota, Italy, and St. Louis. With more than 10 years of customer service and supervisory experience, Janelle also worked as a lead teacher’s assistant.

Since 2012, Janelle has served as an important and versatile team member at Premier Staffing. She’s worked in account and office management, as well as training. Her current specialty is payroll.

Janelle’s hobbies include spending time with her family, building and fixing items, painting, and traveling all across the world.

Tammy Shaner

Tammy Shaner

Account Manager

Tammy is originally from Waterloo, Iowa. After 19 years working in the executive office of the president at GMAC Mortgage, Tammy and her family moved to Cedar Rapids. In this position, she excelled in the areas of customer service and account management.

Tammy joined Premier staffing in June of 2014 as an Account Manager.

She helps coordinate the several of Premier Staffing customer staffing needs. In her spare time, she enjoys working out.

She is a regular contributor to her sons’ hockey career. Donating several volunteer hours with the local youth hockey organizations, including the Cedar Rapids own Rough Riders.

Chris Cole

Chris Cole

Accountant

Chris graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a B.A in Accounting. He worked for Premier Staffing as an intern when he was completing his schooling at UNI. Upon graduation he spent three years getting a variety of accounting experience from two previous jobs before joining back up with Premier Staffing in 2016. He now processes all the accounting duties for Premier Staffing.

In his free time, he enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and playing golf.

Bri Darnell

Bri Darnell

Accountant

Bri has lived in Cedar Rapids since 2005, she moved here after she graduated from La ’James College in Iowa City. Bri has more than 10 years’ experience in customer service, 5 years’ experience in recruiting, and 3 years in Human Resources.

Bri started with Premier Staffing in October 2016. She started being the Administrative Assistant but will be moving into Account Management. Bri is very active with her son’s sports and school activities.

Sherman Wise

Sherman Wise

Regional Sales Manager

Sherman is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a Master’s in communication branding. As a former UNI professor, Sherman was also director for the Blue Zones Project in Waterloo.

In 2014, Sherman became the market manager for the new Waterloo/Cedar Falls location. He had experience working with most of the businesses and employees throughout the community and we felt he was the perfect fit. Sherman believes in the CCB Packaging model about caring for each employee.

Erica Canfield

Erica Canfield

Account Manager

Erica was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 2013, she graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with degrees in marketing and public relations/communications. At UNI, Erica was actively involved in many student organizations, such as Relay for Life and Northern Iowa Wishmakers, as well as being on the cheerleading squad.

In 2013, Erica joined the Premier Staffing team as marketing coordinator and account manager. She’s been a key factor in helping Premier Staffing continue its rapid growth. In 2014, Erica teamed up with Sherman Wise to open a Premier Staffing in Waterloo, IA.

Erica enjoys traveling, being with friends and family, going to sporting events, and staying active.
